Deep Focus is a macOS menu-bar focus timer that helps reduce distraction during focused work sessions.

What Deep Focus does

• Starts and tracks focus sessions from the menu bar
• Hides blocked apps during active sessions
• Blanks blocked websites in supported browsers
• Stores settings locally on your Mac

Supported browsers for site blocking

• Safari
• Google Chrome
• Arc
• Brave
• Microsoft Edge

Troubleshooting

• If website blocking is not working, make sure Deep Focus has permission to control your browser via macOS automation prompts.
• If an app is not being hidden, verify the app name or bundle identifier is added correctly in the blocked apps list.
• If settings do not appear to update immediately, quit and reopen the app.

Deep Focus runs locally and does not collect analytics or send personal data to a remote server in the current version. Read the privacy policy.
